I know this is meant to foreshadow the involvement of Clay’s ex, but I can’t identify what sort of beetles those are and I feel that a centipede-eating kind would be the sort of thing that would legitimately freak out an otherwise indestructable man made of centipedes…
Ohhh, now we get a closer look at what bugs she chose – hmm. they look like beetles! maybe dermestiiids? they’re a little big for deathwatch beetles, but it must be said making bugs larger makes them a lot easier to draw. personally, for worker drone revenants, i’d think something with a hive/colony lifestyle would be more useful, but beetles are an interesting choice!
Boy, i hope she took some good notes for all us junior necromancers…
